Cuốn STAAD.Pro Fundamentals V8i nằm trong bộ sách hướng dẫn sử dụng chuẩn của Học Viện Bentley. Bộ sách này được coi là tài sản của hãng Bentley, được bán thông qua đại lý và dành riêng cho các khách hàng mua license. Sách không được bán tới các cơ sở đào tạo và các hiệu sách bình thường.

Sách dày 360 trang A4, gồm 11 chương cùng 2 phụ lục và một đĩa CD dữ liệu (bài tập) đi kèm. Công ty MICAD đã được hãng Bentley cho phép dịch sách ra tiếng Việt với mục đích phục vụ tốt nhất các khách hàng của mình.

Cuốn sách được thiết kế theo phương pháp hướng-quy-trình và hướng-tác-vụ. Sách nhấn mạnh các quy trình và các bước mà bạn cần thực hiện để hoàn tất một tác vụ cụ thể. Khi thực hiện, bạn sẽ học các lệnh, các mục lựa chọn cũng như các lệnh đơn cần thiết trong ngữ cảnh của công việc thiết kế cụ thể đó. Sách chứa nhiều hình ảnh minh hoạ, chỉ rõ từng lệnh và kết quả đồ họa.
